Mandela Effect-Smokey and the Bandit-Adding

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/burt-reynolds-dead-deliverance-boogie-nights-star-was-82-831093

God rest his soul, Burt Reynolds died and I looked at his age and started looking up Sally Fields (yes Fields) age (She was his wife in Smokey & the bandit or sidekick or something) anyway this led me to look up the year it was made and that made me angry!

I truly should have left my 'Jabez Prayer' Mandela effect up but someone convinced me I was inaccurate and now I don't think I was.

But onto Smokey and the Bandit. My daughter comes in my room and I start ranting about the fact that no way was smokey and the bandit released in May 1977 because I was 15 1/2 and I saw this movie between and during my 12th and 14th year and I proved it to my daughter!

When I lived in Plaistow NH we lived right behind a Drive In. We walked a small path through the woods and badabing boom we watched hundreds of movies free of charge! I did this between the ages of 11 and 14. (No mom did not always know, in fact 'The Exorcist' was off limits and all us kids snuck through the woods anyway and spent many sleepless nights that month) During my 14th year we moved away. Any movie I saw at a drive in (except the The terminator on July 4th years later in AZ) was at the Plaistow drive in. I told my daughter I saw Smokey and the Bandit at THAT DRIVE-IN.

I remember almost ALL the movies I saw there and named a bunch off the top of my head. I would say 'The Exorcist' look it up I would have been under the age of 14. I say 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid' Again under the age of 14. I say 'Papillon' again UNDER the age of 14. In fact most would have been around 12-13 because I moved the early summer of my 14th year and drive ins closed during winter months. Smokey and the bandit was not released until a year later at the least. The Original 'Last house on the left' Right again! I even told her which movies I saw at a theater to prove I remember things. 'Mark of the Devil' They passed out barf bags and 'Earthquake' they made the whole theater rumble and our chairs shook whenever the tremors started. (She express jealousy over that one) The theaters were so much better than today! In fact everything about life was better in the 70's.

I just thought of another 'Deliverance' 1972. I was 11 when I saw this at that drive-in. Every movie I recall, except this one? Bullshit!

I am not wrong. I saw Smokey and the Bandit before (according to today) it was ever finished filming!

This is a Mandela Effect!

This also makes this the fourth Mandela effect concerning Sally Fields whose brother is a physicist at CERN if you did not know! Coincidence?

1. Her name is Fields not Field

2 A movie with Dustin Hoffman

3 Award receiving words

4 Smokey and the bandit

It is a Mandela effect, look at her name in this movie from the 70's. It says Field. Not correct.
